Hungarian wine has a history of several hundred years. the wine-producing regions of Hungary have excellent agricultural-ecological features.
Hungary lies in the middle zone of wine-growing regions, the annual temperature is between 11-16 degrees Centigrade and that the cultivation of grapes producing both red and white wine is possible.

| Tokaj Wine Region |

this is the most famous grape and wine producing region in Hungary, it is well-known worldwide. Even though the viticulture in this area is a thousand years old, it became world famous only in the 17th century, when the Tokaj Aszú, a remarkable rare phenomenon resulting from typically late harvesting and special manufacturing processes, achieved wide recognition. In this region the wine cellars are often hundreds of years old - sometimes with more than one level - and sunk into the rocks.

| Villány-Siklós Wine region |

One of the most characteristic, and the most southerly wine districts of Hungary. Its status is assured by excellent quality red wines that have been produced, mostly around Villány, for centuries. The wines of Villány reach the highest prices in Hungary. Wine tourism is becoming increasingly more significant and the wine producers of this region were the first to establish a wine route.

| Badacsony Wine Region |

In this region they grow almost exclusively white wine varieties. Of the 16 types planted are some traditional ones world varieties and newly cultured wines. The wines are here are aromatic, fruity and delicately acidic.

| Eger Wine Region |
 |
The beginning of the grape and wine culture in Eger stretches back to the period after the Conquest of Hungary. The legend of the most famous wine of this region, the Bikavér (Bull's Blood), also goes back to the midlle ages. The choice of white wines is wide,on at least 50% of the region's land white wine grape varieties are grown.

| Sopron Wine REgion |
 |
The wine of Sopron became famous in Europe in the 12th - 15th centuries. Until the end of the 19th century they grew mostly white varieties here, but since then the red wine varieties have dominated. The region lies at the foothills of the Alps, and its climatic conditions are moderate.
