The main attraction of the city is the Castle Bath. The heart of the city is the medieval Castle and the spa connecting to it organically. The 72oC water of the Castle Bath is coming from the deepness of 2004 m.
After the reconstruction in 2002, the Castle Bath has emerged as the newest, most modern bath and spa of European standard in the South Great Plain region, where pleasure pools, children's water paradise, effervescent or wave pools and giant or kamikaze slides provide all age-groups with perfect amusement.
The Castle Bath, probably the most beautiful spa of Hungary, was built in the castle park which is a nature reserve today.
The water of the bath contains alcali-hydrogene-carbonate-chloride. Owing to its high mineral contents it has brownish colour. This medicinal water has curative effects to locomotive disorders, local nervous diathesis, rehabilitating treatments after accidents and phlogistic gynaecological problems.
